Run a survey to discover the impact of your marketing efforts in your test market and control market

  1. Download the data from your dashboard

  2. Upload the Excel file to the Notebook

  3. Adjust the date slider to start the day/week before your campaign and end the day/week after. For ongoing campaigns, keep the end date as is.

  4. Click analyze at the top left; the impact line will appear.

Run a survey about how well your messaging resonates with your audience and discover whether it's "Emerging", "Mainstream", "Stagnant", or "Exhausted".

  1. Download the data from your dashboard

  2. Upload the Excel file to the Notebook

  3. Select all the messaging options from the list

  4. askpolly will plot the messages on a matrix with "Engagement" on the left and "New Voices" on the bottom

Run a survey about a person's experience with a product or service, e.g. "How was your experience with Hilton Hotel: Check-in".

  1. Download the data from your dashboard

  2. Upload the Excel file to the Notebook

  3. Enter each stage of the customer journey as items in the bar

  4. Then select one by one the items in order of the experience and add them to the plot.

    • The graph plots the joy with each step.

Run a survey about whether a person would recommend a product or service, e.g. "Would you recommend Hilton Hotels".

  1. Download the data from your dashboard

  2. Upload the Excel file to the Notebook

  3. Enter each item in the survey in the items bar.

  4. Then select these items to add them to the plot

    • item

    • the fans

    • the detractors 

  5. The graph plots the fans less the detractors divided by the total engagement to find the net recommendation score
